Vinyasa yoga is a fluid, powerful practice, linking breath to movement through a balanced series of postures (asana). Psychologically, Yoga focuses your thoughts and steadies emotions. The practice of breathing correctly further calms the mind. Spiritually it helps you bring awareness to all your activities, and with that, the ability to be still.
While you might not be able to touch your toes and the person next to you kisses their knees the key here is not to compare yourself with others. Just watch your own progress and marvel at how much further you can stretch yourself today than you could yesterday. Eventually your practice will have more profound effects as you move through your body, increasing its strength and flexibility. So just enjoy yourself and be encouraged by the changes you’ll observe in your body and mind.
Taught by select qualified instructors from around the world. All levels are welcome and encouraged to participate in the daily Vinyasa classes.
Based on the 5 Rhythms, these classes center around your bodies own natural movement and expression. By quieting our mind and entering a meditative state we begin to feel our own circles of dance which free the body from habitual movement patterns and emotional holdings.
